Membership in a Legal Services Organization
New York Rules of Professional Conduct (22 NYCRR Part 1200)
(a) if participating in the decision or action would be incompatible with the lawyer’s obligations to a client under Rules 1.7 through 1.13; or (b) where the decision or action could have a material adverse effect on the representation of a client of the organization whose interests differ from those of a client of the lawyer or the lawyer’s firm.
