Limitation on Application of Briefing Rules

The filing deadlines imposed by Rules 16.02 through 16.07 do not apply to appeals involving the imposition of the death penalty for an offense committed on or after January 1, 1995, and instituted under Rule 11.01(B)(1). Filing deadlines for briefs in those appeals are governed by Rule 11.05(B).
