Court of Criminal Appeals Rule 10. Inadequate Briefs. (a) If a brief does not substantially conform to the requirements of the Tennessee Rules of Appellate Procedure, the court may order the same stricken and direct the filing, within a fixed time, of a new brief, and it may impose costs or order payment by the offending attorney or party of costs in such amount as the circumstances require. (b) Issues which are not supported by argument, citation to authorities, or appropriate references to the record will be treated as waived in this court. Rule Name Rule 10: Inadequate Briefs
