Hearsay Within Hearsay

Hearsay within hearsay is not excluded by the rule against hearsay if each part of the combined statements conforms with an exception to the rule. COMMENT ON RULE 805 Rule 805 is taken verbatim from its federal counterpart. The revised rule is substantively the same as the current state rule and the changes are merely stylistic. There is no intent to change any result in any ruling on evidence admissibility.
