General Requirement for Court Interpreter Certification

(a) Eligibility for Certification. An applicant is eligible for certification if the interpreter: (1) meets the requirements under Rule 8.01 and is included on the Statewide Roster of court interpreters; and (2) receives a passing score on the court interpreting competency examination under Rule 8.05 administered or approved by the State Court Administrator's Office.
