Forms of court annexed alternative dispute resolution

(a) For certain civil cases commenced in judicial districts that include a county whose population is 100,000 or more, there shall be made available the following forms of court annexed alternative dispute resolution: (1) arbitration, pursuant to Subpart B of these rules; (2) mediation, pursuant to Subpart C of these rules; (3) settlement conference, as provided herein; and (4) such other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms contemplated by NRS 38.250 as may from time to time be promulgated. (b) Judicial districts having a lesser population may adopt local rules implementing all or part of these forms of alternative dispute resolution.
