Pretrial Motions Pretrial motions shall be written and served in accordance with Sections 10-12 through 10-17 unless, for good cause shown, the judicial author- ity shall grant permission to make an oral pretrial motion. Every written motion shall include a state- ment of the factual and legal or other basis there- for, shall state whether the same or a similar motion was previously filed and ruled upon, and shall have annexed to it a proper order. All defenses and objections that must be raised by motion prior to trial shall, to the extent possible, be raised at the same time. (P.B. 1978-1997, Sec. 812.)
