The fees for service by the United States Marshals for process issued by the Superior Court are the same as those for process issued by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. COMMENT TO 2020 AMENDMENTS This rule was amended consistent with the stylistic changes to the federal civil rules. The United States Marshals Service’s fees are listed in 28 C.F.R. § 0.114. COMMENT Attention is called to the provisions of D. C. Code 1981, § 15-713 which prohibit in any class of case return of a jury fee if demand for jury trial is withdrawn less than 3 days before the trial date.
