Exceptions Unnecessary

Superior Court Juvenile Rules

Rule: 51

Jurisdiction: DC

Bluebook Citation: D.C. Super. Ct. Juv. R. 51

Exceptions to rulings or orders of the Family Court are unnecessary and for all purposes for which an exception has heretofore been necessary it is sufficient that a party, at the time the ruling or order of the Family Court is made or sought, makes known to the Family Court the action which he desires the Family Court to take or his objection to the action of the Family Court and the grounds therefor; but if a party has no opportunity to object to a ruling or order, the absence of an objections does not thereafter prejudice him. COMMENT Substantially similar to FRCrP 51.
