Entry of Judgment of Conviction and Sentence
Mississippi Rules of Criminal Procedure (effective July 1, 2023)
(a) Entry of Judgment and Sentence. The judgment is complete and valid upon its entry in the minutes. (b) Entry of Order and Duty of Clerk. Immediately upon entry of an order or judgment of the court, the clerk of the court shall make a diligent effort to assure that all attorneys of record have received notice of the entry of the order or judgment.
