RALJ 4.2 ENFORCEMENT OF JUDGMENT (a) Civil Case. A party may not enforce a civil judgment of a court of limited jurisdiction until 30 days after entry of the judgment. Thereafter, a party may enforce the judgment in the court of limited jurisdiction unless enforcement is stayed as provided in rule 4.3. (b) Criminal Case. A sentence in a criminal case will be enforced by the court of limited jurisdiction if the defendant appeals and fails to stay enforcement of sentence as provided in rule 4.3(b). (c) Statutes Control. Except as otherwise provided in these rules, statutes and other rules relating to enforcement of a judgment and a sentence are applicable.
