Effect of rules
Massachusetts Supplemental Rules of the Probate and Family Court
The provisions of these rules shall apply to all proceedings in the Probate and Family Court unless a contrary intent appears. Whenever a Supplemental Rule of the Probate and Family Court refers to a rule in the Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure, or to a rule in the Massachusetts Rules of Domestic Relations Procedure, it shall mean the rule in the Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure or in the Massachusetts Rules of Domestic Relations Procedure as it may be amended from time to time.
