(a) Duty to Assist. An attorney must assist the Supreme Court, the Board, and the disciplinary administrator in the investigation and prosecution of an initial complaint or a report, a docketed complaint, and a formal complaint and in other matters relating to the discipline of attorneys. (b) Duty to Respond. An attorney must timely respond to a request from the disciplinary administrator for information during an investigation and prosecution of an initial complaint or a report, a docketed complaint, and a formal complaint. (c) Duty to Report. An attorney who has knowledge of any action or omission that in the attorney’s opinion constitutes misconduct must report the action or omission to the disciplinary administrator.
