1. The executive director shall: (a) Maintain the office of the state bar, its records and files, and coordinate the functions and activities of all state bar committees. (b) Attend all meetings of the board of governors and of the state bar, and shall record the proceedings of all such meetings. (c) Execute all contracts entered into by order of the board of governors. (d) Have custody of the seal of the state bar and may affix it to any documents to be executed on behalf of the board of governors or to be certified as emanating from the board of governors. (e) Perform such other duties as are required or imposed in carrying out these rules and other regulations. 2. The duties of executive director may be performed by assistant directors as designated by the board of governors. [Amended; effective July 1, 2021.]
