(A) A waiver, affirmation, or disclaimer to be executed by the father of a child born out of wedlock may be executed any time after the conception of the child. If a putative father acknowledges paternity, he must receive notice of the hearing if the child is an Indian child. (B) A release or consent is valid if executed in accordance with the law at the time of execution.
