DOCKETING DOCUMENTS FROM SELF-REPRESENTED PARTIES
Hawai‘i Court Records Rules
Subject to Rule 8 of these rules, case related documents received from self-represented criminal defendants, self-represented petitioners under Rule 40 of the Hawai‘i Rules of Penal Procedure, or any prisoner shall be dated and stamped "lodged" or "received" by the Clerk, listed on the docket, and transmitted to a judge or hearing officer for consideration. (Amended June 21, 2012, effective September 1, 2012.)
