RULE 23. CLASS ACTIONS Rules of Civil Procedure .05 A certified class action shall not be voluntarily dismissed or compromised without approval of the court, and notice of the proposed dismissal or compromise shall be given to all members of the class in such manner as the court directs. If attorney fees are sought as part of a compromise, a motion for fees must be filed and served on all parties and, for motions by class counsel, directed to class members in a reasonable manner.
