Exhibits marked in criminal cases shall be kept by the court administrator until the time for appeal has expired or any appeal has been decided, unless surrender of the exhibits is ordered by the judge before whom the case was tried or the chief judge of the district. Task Force Comment - 1991 Adoption This rule is derived from 4th Dist. R. 6.03. The Minnesota Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rules of Criminal Procedure recommended that this local rule be incorporated in the General Rules of Practice for the District Courts for uniform statewide application and the Task Force concurs in that recommendation.
