CONTINUANCES. Requests for continuance of

any hearing or proceedings in the water court must be made in accordance with the Uniform District Court Rules, and served upon all interested parties not less than 5 days before the date set for hearing or proceedings. The water court will grant the continuance upon a substantial showing of good cause. The water court may grant an untimely request for a continuance upon a showing of exigent circumstances.
