(a) HEARING AND DISPOSITION. When a petition in an involuntary case is contested, the court must: (1) rule on the issues presented at the earliest practicable time; and (2) promptly issue an order for relief, dismiss the petition, or issue any other appropriate order. (b) DEFAULT. If the petition is not contested within the time al- lowed by Rule 1011, the court must issue the order for relief on the next day or as soon as practicable.
