These rules are designed to provide for the efficient operation of the courts of the State of Alaska. If no specific procedure is prescribed by rule, the court may proceed in any lawful manner not the constitution, and the common law. inconsistent with rules, these (Adopted by SCO 5 October 9, 1959; amended by SCO 49 effective January 1, 1963)
