Consecutive or Concurrent Sentences
Mississippi Rules of Criminal Procedure (effective July 1, 2023)
Unless otherwise provided by law, the court may direct that the sentence being imposed will be served concurrently with, or consecutively to, any other sentence previously or simultaneously imposed upon the defendant by any court. When sentencing orders are silent, sentences shall run concurrently. Comment
