PREAMBLE Judicial selection commissioners hold positions of public trust and shall conduct themselves in a manner which reflects credit upon the judicial selection process. Pursuant to Article VI, Section 4 of the Hawai‘i State Constitution, the commission shall adopt rules which shall have the full force and effect of law. (Amended and effective 10/19/2021) Rule 1. COMMISSION CHAIRPERSON The commission shall select one of its members as chairperson. The chairperson of the commission shall adhere to the Rules for the Judicial Selection Commission and shall preside at any meeting of the commission and shall perform such additional acts and functions as authorized by the commission.
