Code of Professional Conduct for Court Interpreters and Translators

Supreme Court certified foreign language interpreters, provisionally qualified foreign language interpreters, registered foreign language interpreters, Supreme Court certified sign language interpreters, registered sign language interpreters, and translators shall be subject to and take an oath or affirmation under which the interpreter or translator affirms to know, understand, and act in accordance with the “Code of Professional Conduct for Court Interpreters and Translators,” as set forth in Appendix H to this rule. The Supreme Court Language Services Section shall maintain a signed oath as part of the records of the Section.
