Within 48 hours after the death of a resident, the director of the facility where the individual resided shall file with the Family Court Central Intake Center and serve upon all parties a notice of death and shall request dismissal of all proceedings then pending. Upon receiving the notice, the Court shall enter an order dismissing all such proceedings and closing the case.
