WATER COURT. The water court may issue such orders on its own motion as may be reasonably required to allow it to determine whether a claim accurately reflects its claimed pre- July 1, 1973 beneficial use. The order calling any claim in on motion shall state the basis of the water court's decision to review the claim and shall identify the elements of the claim and the issues to be reviewed. In reviewing claims called in on its own motion, the water court shall generally follow the procedures set forth in § 85-2-248, MCA.
