Civil harassment, workplace violence prevention, and domestic violence prevention orders

A proceeding for the following orders initiated by or brought against a child who has previously been adjudged a dependent child or a ward of the juvenile court and who remains under juvenile court jurisdiction must be heard in the juvenile court that has jurisdiction of the child as required by Code of Civil Procedure section 374.5: (1) An order prohibiting harassment under Code of Civil Procedure section 527.6; (2) An order prohibiting violence in the workplace under Code of Civil Procedure section 527.8; (3) A protective order under division 10 (beginning with section 6200) of the Family Code; and (4) A protective order under Family Code sections 7710 and 7720. Rule 5.632 adopted effective January 1, 2025.
