(A) Definition As used in these rules, a “certified question of state law” case is a case in which the Supreme Court may answer a question of state law certified to it by a court of the United States. (B) Instituting a case A certified-question-of-state-law case shall be filed as provided for in Rule 9.01 and shall proceed in accordance with Rules 9.05 through 9.08.
