A certificate of good standing may be issued by the Clerk of the Supreme Court to a person admitted to practice law in this state or to a person who holds a limited certificate to practice law in this state if the person is a member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar and is not under suspension for any reason. A person admitted or holding a limited certificate may request a certificate of good standing by submitting a written request to the Clerk of the Supreme Court accompanied by a filing fee in the amount of $25. If multiple copies are requested, an additional fee of $5 shall be charged for the second or subsequent copy of the certificate. Enacted by Order dated April 7, 2003.
