Central Utah Correctional Facility designated a public courtroom

Intent: To recognize the courtroom of the Central Utah Correctional Facility as a public courtroom. To provide a proper courtroom and a secure environment in which to conduct proceedings in criminal offenses charged against inmates of the Central Utah Correctional Facility. Applicability: This rule shall apply to the Sixth District Court. Statement of the Rule: (1) The courtroom of the Central Utah Correctional Facility is recognized as a public courtroom of the Sixth Judicial District for the purpose of conducting proceedings in criminal offenses charged against inmates of the Central Utah Correctional Facility. (2) All persons entering the public courtroom at the Central Utah Correctional Facility are subject to the rules and regulations of that facility.
