(a) Court Security Officer. The Clerk serves as the Court Security Officer for the purpose of providing for the protection of classified information and may designate assistants with the appropriate security clearance. (b) Classified Documents. The Court Security Officer will store and safeguard documents containing classified information in accordance with the applicable Department of Defense Information Security Program requirements, or the security procedures established by the Chief Justice of the United States pursuant to Pub. L. No. 96-456, 94 Stat. 2025, as appropriate. See Rules 9(c), 35A. (c) Security Clearances. The Court Security Officer will obtain security clearances for personnel on the Court’s staff in accordance with the applicable Department of Defense Information Security Program requirements. 9 ATTORNEYS
