Case assignment. The chief judge may assign and monitor cases within the district

and may delegate this authority to the district court administrator by general supervisory order or on a case-by-case basis. District judges, district associate judges, associate juvenile judges, associate probate judges, and magistrates shall attend to any matter within their statutory jurisdiction assigned to them by the chief judge.
