(a) Calendars. The Court may provide for placing criminal proceedings upon appropriate calendars. Preference shall be given to criminal proceedings as far as practicable. (b) Motions. Scheduling of hearings on motions shall be as directed by the Court on each motion. (c) Oral argument. There will be no oral argument unless scheduled by the Court, except as may be otherwise expressly provided by statute or rule. (d) Scheduling. Arguments scheduled will be scheduled as to date and time by the assigned Judge. (e) Time. If oral argument is scheduled, each side shall be allowed 15 minutes for argument. Any application for additional time must be presented to the assigned Judge promptly after receipt of the scheduling notice. The Court may limit or terminate an argument when, in its opinion, the issues have been fully presented. Counsel will be expected not to read at length from briefs or opinions.
