(c) The provisions of Section 38-7 shall apply

to condition (4) herein, except that the cash bail shall be deposited with the clerk of the court hav- ing jurisdiction of the offense with which such per- son stands convicted or any assistant clerk of such court who is bonded in the same manner as the clerk or any person or officer authorized to accept bail.
