Whenever a person fails to appear in court as duly required by an order to show cause, subpoena, or other process, the judge, upon being satisfied of the failure to appear, may order the clerk to issue a bench warrant directed to all peace officers of this state to bring the person before the court immediately or at a specified time and place. The warrant may be served by any peace officer in any county of this state in the same manner as an arrest warrant.
