RAP 7.3 AUTHORITY OF APPELLATE COURT The appellate court has the authority to determine whether a matter is properly before it, and to perform all acts necessary or appropriate to secure the fair and orderly review of a case. The Court of Appeals retains authority to act in a case pending before it until review is accepted by the Supreme Court, unless the Supreme Court directs otherwise. [Adopted effective July 1, 1976.]
