4.1 An applicant desiring admission to the Court Interpreter Certification Program for spoken-language interpreters shall complete and submit a written application on a form provided by the Administrative Director. 4.2 Applications shall be screened and processed by the Office of the Administrative Director. This process includes a review of each applicant’s eligibility under Rule 2.1 of these Rules, academic background, language proficiency, and prior interpreting/translation experience. Each applicant shall be advised in writing of the time and place at which the next phase of the certification process will be conducted. Any applicant whose application is denied shall be promptly notified.
