Applicability

(A) Applicability of Rules. Procedure in probate court is governed by the general rules set forth in chapter one and by the rules applicable to other civil proceedings set forth in chapter two, except as modified by the rules in this chapter. (B) Terminology. (1) References to the “clerk” in the Michigan Court Rules also apply to the register in probate court proceedings.
