Appeals from the Michigan Civil Service Commission

(A) Scope. This rule governs appeals to the circuit court from the Michigan Civil Service Commission. Unless this rule provides otherwise, MCR 7.101 through 7.115 apply. (B) Procedure. An appeal from a decision of the Michigan Civil Service Commission must comply with MCR 7.119. (C) Commission as Party. An appeal challenging any decision, rule, or regulation of the Michigan Civil Service Commission must name the commission as a party and must serve the commission at the Office of the State Personnel Director in Lansing, Michigan.
