(a) Any party may appeal the entry of a circuit court order granting or refusing a financial exploitation order to the West Virginia Supreme Court pursuant to Rule 5 of the Rules of Appellate Procedure. Appeals are governed by the Rules of Appellate Procedure. (b) Order in effect pending appeal. The circuit court order shall remain in effect pending an appeal unless stayed by the circuit court or Supreme Court of Appeals upon proper motion.
