(a) As provided in Code § 16.1-106(B), in civil cases, the filing of a timely notice of appeal by one party from a judgment relating to a claim, counterclaim, cross-claim or third party claim, or another appealable order of the general district court, is deemed a timely notice of appeal by any other party on a final order or judgment entered in the same or related action arising from the same conduct, transaction, or occurrence. (b) All parties are required to timely perfect their own respective appeals by giving a bond and paying the writ tax and costs, if any, in accordance with Code § 16.1-107.
