Right by Plaintiff The plaintiff may amend any defect, mistake or informality in the writ, complaint or petition and insert new counts in the complaint, which might have been originally inserted therein, without costs, during the first thirty days after the return day. (See General Statutes § 52-128 and anno- tations.) Any writ, complaint or petition amended pursu- ant to this section shall be accompanied by a separate document showing the portion or por- tions of the original writ, complaint or petition so amended by using underlining to indicate new language and by using either brackets or strikethrough to indicate deleted language.
