Amended Motions

Subdivision 1. Service. At any time up to 14 days before a scheduled hearing, the initiating party may serve and file an amended motion. If no hearing date has been scheduled, the initiating party may serve and file an amended motion within the time remaining for response. Subd. 2. Response. If the noninitiating party chooses to respond to an amended motion, the response must be made within the time remaining for response to the original motion or within 14 days after service of the amended motion, whichever period is longer, unless the court otherwise orders.
