31.7(1) All applicants for the Iowa bar examination must demonstrate a bona fide intention to practice law in Iowa or another UBE jurisdiction. This showing must be by affidavit made before an officer authorized to administer oaths and having a seal. 31.7(2) The affidavit must include the applicant’s designation of the clerk of the supreme court as the applicant’s agent for service of process in Iowa for all purposes.
