Kansas Supreme Court Rules
(a) Time Limitation. Except as otherwise provided in these rules, a time limitation is directory and not jurisdictional. (b) Deviation from Rules. A deviation from these rules may not be asserted as a defense or be a ground for dismissal unless it causes prejudice to the respondent. [ History: New rule adopted effective January 1, 2021.]
