Forman Director D Establishment of the Office of Investigations Law Enforcement Support and Information Management Division (Division 6) On December 8,2008, Acting Assistant Secretary John P, Torres approved the establishment of the Law Enforcement Support and Information Management Division (Division 6) within the Office of Investigations (01). The creation of Division 6 will serve to consolidate several highly specialized business activities from the Investigative Senices (Division 4) and Mission Support (Division 5) Divisions, which wiIl enable centralized coordination of support activities such as information sharing, budget, mission support, contracts and special acquisitions, information and applied technology initiatives and program support. Additionally, Division 6 will be the central coordination point with the TCE Office of the Chief Information Offlcer (OCIO) and will facilitate 01's alignment with the developing enterprise architecture for DHS. This centralized coordination will lead to greater efficiency and effectiveness in support of the 01 investigative mission.

Division 6 will be comprised of the following units: the Program Management Oversight (PMO) unit; the Cyber Crimes Center (C3) unit; the Data Management (DM) unit; the Emergency Preparedness and Incident Management (EPIM) unit; the Forensic Document Lab (FDL) unit; the Information Sharing and Infrastructure Management (ISIM) unit; and the Technical Operations (TechOps) unit. Additionally, the Management Oversight Unit (MOU) and the 0 1 Training Academy (FLETC) will transition from Division 5 to Division 4. A plan is being developed to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Please continue to use estabIished reporting and coordination methods until the final transition plan is announced.
