(a) Disclosure Generally Authorized
In general, information concerning complaints or preliminary inquiries is confidential and Notices of Intent to Discipline and any action that takes place subsequent to their filing may be disclosed to the public. Disciplinary hearings are open to the public, except as noted in 8 C.F.R. § 1003.106(a)(2)(v). See 8 C.F.R. § 1003.108(c).
(b) Lists of Disciplined Practitioners
Lists of practitioners who have been disbarred, suspended, or publicly censured are posted at the immigration courts, at the Board of Immigration Appeals, and on the Executive Office for Immigration Review website. These lists are updated periodically.
